North American Spine Releases Infographic Addressing Posture
Stand up straight! We’ve all heard it, but North American Spine created a stunning infographic that details how important posture truly is. The infographic was titled Practicing Proper Posture and was recently posted on PR Newwsire. The infographic covered important items such as understanding how poor posture can lead to recurring back pain, how to spot the signs of bad posture, and ways to practice better posture when standing or sitting to help prevent back pain.
One of the best aspects of the infographic was the data-rich details it provided. For instance, North American Spine’s infographic showed that not will 80% of Americans suffer from low back point at some point in their lives, but it is also the number one cause of disability in the entire world. Similarly, it showed that 70% of Americans spend over 6 hours a day sitting, many of us sitting with poor posture. It also shared that back pain isn’t the only negative result of poor posture, but that it can also lead to headaches, insomnia and neck pain. The infographic used the aforementioned statistics paired with rich visuals to detail how to prevent low back pain by utilizing proper posture in daily activities.
North American Spine is the exclusive provider of AccuraScope® procedure, a minimally invasive spine surgery designed to cure chronic lower back pain. One interesting statistic within the PR Newswire report was that the average patient who turns to AccuraScope will save over $20,000 in out-patient medical bills during their lifetime.
